Jessica K from Year 6 participated in the NSWPSSA Girls Cricket Championships in Bathurst. Her MacKillop team went into the Grand Final undefeated in their pool but came up against a very strong Sydney West team and were runners up receiving a silver medal. It was a big week of cricket for Jessica who made runs, took wickets and some great catches. We are very proud of her and how she represented St Francis of Assisi Primary School Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese Primary Sport Parramatta Diocese

Congratulations to our badge recipients. 🌟 Last Monday, students at St Francis received their Tau and Bronze badges. For the first time at St Francis, we presented a student with their Silver Badge. Term 3 House Sport Championship This term our Year 5 and Year 6 students competed in an OZTag competition at lunch time. The games were officiated by our Year 6 sports leaders and the spectators were entertained with music from our Year 6 technology leaders. All of the matches were closely contested with McCormack coming out champions after a challenging finals match against Deane. Congratulations to Riley who was victorious in our runners up final against Miriam. The competition allowed the student leaders and future leaders to model good sportsmanship, fair play and acceptance of challenging calls by the referees for our younger students.

This term, students from Years 4-6 volunteered to learn how to crochet. The Mini Friars Club will be creating scarves to donate to the Our Lady of Consolation Aged Care Community. Thank you to all of the families and members of our St. Francis community who have donated yarn and crocheting hooks. Our students have enjoyed learning how to create a scarf for the benefit of others. We would also like to thank the teachers who have donated their time to support the Mini Friars Crocheting Club.

πŸŽ‰ Congratulations to Emily and Sienna from Year 6! πŸŽ‰ Today, these two talented girls proudly represented St Francis at the 2024 Voice of Youth Cluster Final held at St Andrew's Marayong. The competition was incredibly tough, but Emily and Sienna impressed everyone with their outstanding speeches delivered to a very large audience. πŸŽ€πŸ‘ We are immensely proud of their courage, dedication, and the hard work they put into preparing for this event.
