Year 4 Excursion to Nan Tien Temple

On Tuesday 3rd November, Year 4 went on an interesting and unforgettable journey to Nan Tien Temple in Wollongong. They had a lot of fun learning about Buddha and the Buddhist religion. The students and teachers got to make an origami lotus blossom and had some delicious fried rice with wedges for lunch. 4H and 4G toured through two holy shrines and learnt about some of the Buddhist symbols. They also journeyed through the on-site museum. Year 4’s enchanting adventure finally ended as they thanked their guides Tess and Bob.
