As the school year gets underway, we welcome a number of new Principals to schools across the Diocese of Parramatta.

Mary Harb joins Sacred Heart Primary, Westmead as Principal after five years as RE Coordinator. Mary says she feels privileged to be appointed Principal.

‘I’m looking forward to collaborating with staff, students and parents and building strong community partnerships and parish links,’ said Mary. ‘Though it will be a challenge, I’m hoping to find the balance between being an instructional leader working with students and staff in the classroom, and all that comes with being a Principal and leading a learning community.’

Jennifer Bellenger joins St Francis of Assisi Primary, Glendenning and comes from Bethany Primary Glenmore Park where she was Assistant Principal.

‘I’m looking forward to working with a very vibrant school community, working closely with staff in partnership with the parents of our most precious gifts – the children,’ said Jennifer.

‘My favourite aspect of teaching is the smiles on students’ faces when they have achieved success and they become a confident, independent learner.’

We extend a warm welcome to Mary and Jennifer.
